SAP Sign In

Follow the below steps to start the add-in component of Spreadsheet Server for SAP ledger:

Note:
  • If a user's Spreadsheet Server Settings are set to start Spreadsheet Server during Excel startup, step 2 is not applicable.
  • If unattended (auto) sign in is enabled, steps 3 and 4 are not applicable.
  • The dialog boxes used to sign into Spreadsheet Server are determined by the user's Application Configurator settings.
    1. Open Excel.
    2. In Excel, from the Spreadsheet Server Ribbon, select Disabled (or, click the down arrow under the Disabled button, and click Enable). The SAP Logon dialog box appears.
    3. Two methods are available for signing into Spreadsheet Server:
    4. Using Legacy SAP GUI connection type

      In the SAP Logon dialog box specify the following information:

      • Select the desired System to sign into.
      • Specify the Client, User ID, Password, and Language.

      Using SAP NetCo 3.0 connection type

      In the SAP Logon dialog box specify the following information:

      • Specify the Client, User ID, Password, and Language.
      • Select Remember Me to retain the User ID and Password.
      • If necessary, click the System tab, and select the desired system to sign into.
    5. Click OK.
