JD Edwards Ledger Specifics

Use the following table to enter data in the Spreadsheet Server Settings > Ledger Specifics >JD Edwards panel:

JD Edwards Processing Options:

 

Number of decimal positions for amounts

Specify the number of positions to move the decimal when displaying dollar amounts. JD Edwards stores the amount as a whole number (for example, 262350), therefore, if 2 is entered for this option, Spreadsheet Server displays the amount as 2623.50.

Alternate language code

Specify the alternative language from the F0901D file to be used for displaying account descriptions. Leave blank to retrieve account descriptions from the F0901 file.

Limit Segment Lookup Results to nnnn records

If selected, the number of segment records loaded during a segment value lookup (for example, in the Locate Segment panel, or, when clicking the ellipses (...) button for an account segment in the Build a Template or Control Panel panels) is limited by the number of records specified.

Category Codes: Set value to upper case

If selected, @ field values (for example, business unit and account category codes) are set to uppercase for calculation purposes.

Drill Down: Display blank or null dates as 1/1/1900

If selected, blank or null dates are displayed as 1/1/1900 in various drill downs and GXE journal entry detail expanded reports.

Journal Drill Down: Do not include MA Code and MA Type fields

If selected, journal drill downs and GXE journal entry detail expanded reports exclude MA Code and MA Type fields as data output.

Journal Drill Down: Do not include GLAID field (Outsider Lease)

If selected, journal drill downs and GXE journal entry detail expanded reports exclude the GLALID (Outsider Lease/Well ID) field as data output.

Journal Entry Drill Down: View preference

Click the drop-down list, and select the type of journal entries to display in the journal entry drill down panel. Valid values are:

  • Posted Entries Only
  • Unposted Entries Only
  • Both Posted and Unposted

Default Configuration

Click the down arrow and select the JD Edwards host configuration to default on the Build a Template and Control Panel panels.

Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable/ Inventory

Specify the single character batch type codes used for the applicable subsystems. Parameters must be separated by a comma ( , ).
