The AI Assistant feature is integrated within Spreadsheet Server, providing users with the product's own AI service. The option is located in the Spreadsheet Server ribbon.
AI Doc Assistant
The AI Assistant> Doc Assistant option in Spreadsheet Server opens the in-product doc assistance chatbot that answers any questions related to Spreadsheet Server processes using documentation and support knowledge base articles as the resource.

Who can preview this feature?
Currently, Spreadsheet Server Platform customers on v24.1 and higher can preview this feature.
What is the prerequisite to access this feature?
- Users must upgrade to v24.1 of Spreadsheet Server.
- Users must complete the Platform authentication.
Where to access this feature?
The AI Doc Assist option is available in the Spreadsheet Server ribbon.
How to use this feature?
Type the required question in the textbox and hit Enter. insightsoftware’s AI Doc Assistant provides a tailored response to your question.
Users can also:
- Select related help articles under References to view more information on the subject.
- Resize and move the panel.
AI Data Analyst
Spreadsheet Server version for the Platform offers real time trend analysis and anomaly detection. Perform the following steps to analyze your data:
- Select a group of cells and right-click to open the context menu.

Select Spreadsheet Server > Analyze Data with AI.
The results show up in the AI Assistant window.
