Table Menu
The Table menu is accessed from the Query Canvas panel, and allows users to access and process various functions associated with the selected table.
- In the Query Canvas, right-click the header section of the desired table. The Table menu appears. The options available in this menu vary based on the query connection type.

- Alias can be a name or a number.
- By default, the alias name is assigned the first three letters of the table name.
- For iSeries and SQL Server connection queries, opens the Select Library panel, allowing the user to select a different database or library, from which to retrieve the table data. The newly selected database or library name appears in the table header section.

Set Alias |
For all connection queries excluding SAP, opens the Table Alias panel, allowing the user to enter an alias name for the table.

For SQL Server connection queries, opens the Change Table Owner panel, allowing the user to specify a different table owner. |
Change Schema |
For Oracle connection queries, opens the Change Schema panel, allowing the user to specify a different table schema. |
Remove Multiple Tables |
Allows the user to remove multiple tables, and any associated relationships and selected fields from the query. |
Remove Table |
Removes the current table, and any associated relationships and selected fields from the query. |
