Hardcoded Criteria

Field selection criteria may be hardcoded. These hardcoded values cannot be modified during the query run time (for example, in Excel). Hardcoded criteria may be entered directly in the Field List grid, or the Expression Builder panel. For example, Open Amount <> or 0 Status = Active.

Enter Hardcoded Criteria in the Field List Panel

In the Field List grid, click the Criteria field associated with the desired field, and type the selection criteria (<> in the below screenshot).

1. In the Field List grid, click the ellipses button associated with the Criteria field associated with the desired field. The Expression Builder panel appears.
2. In the Expression Builder panel, selection criteria may be typed directly in the Enter an Expression to use in the query field, or by using the appropriate operation, or functional options to develop the expression.



3. Once the expression is complete, click OK.
