Execute a Query

Once all fields have been selected and added to the Field List panel, it is recommended to run a test to verify the query setup.

Execute a Single Query

1. From the Query Designerribbon, select Run Query. The Result Viewer panel appears displaying query results based on the option selected.

Note: A similar panel is also displayed when a drill down is performed on a GEXQ or GEXI formula in Excel.

Execute Multiple Queries

1. In the Query Designer, open the first query, then from the ribbon, select the Run Query function. The Result Viewer panel appears, displaying query results based on the option selected.
2. Leave the Result Viewer panel open and navigate to the Query Designer homepage.
3. Open the second query, then from the Query Designerribbon, select the Run Query function. A new tab appears in the open Result Viewer panel displaying query results based on the option selected.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 as necessary.

Tip: Right-click in the grid to select all cells in Result Viewer.
