Add a New Host Configuration for Oracle EBS
The following General Ledger application settings apply to all users licensed to use the General Ledger feature, when using an Oracle General Ledger type, or, when processing the General Ledger or Spreadsheet Writeback feature. This article describes how to add a Host configuration.
- From the Application Configurator panel, select the Application Settings tab. The Application Settings panel appears.
- Click the Oracle EBS tab.
- To create a new host configuration, from the ribbon, click the New button. The system adds a new host configuration in the navigation pane, and the Oracle EBS > Host Configuration panel appears.
- Use the following table to enter data in the Oracle EBS > Host Configuration panel:

This field is only enabled when the Direct Connect option is selected. Note: If this option is selected, a panel appears, allowing the user to select (highlight) the server connection to be used for RAC support. Once selected, click OK to populate the RAC Server Connection Definition field. |
